Tree

Is the tree in Belize's coat of arms really mahogany? This source [1] says that it's logwood. --Romanm 22:36, 16 Apr 2004 (UTC)

The Government of Belize www.belize.gov.bz claims that it is a Mahogany tree. www.belize.gov.bz/belize/national.html It claims that in the Coat of Arms. And it is also listed on that page that the Mahogany is the national tree of Belize. CaribDigita 17:36, 2 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Is the tree part of the crest or not?

Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compartment_(heraldry) where it states that the tree is not part of the crest, but is actually part of the compartment. Should I make the appropriate changes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.185.135.72 (talk) 22:28, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

"British College of Heraldry"?

I assume this actually means the College of Arms, also called the College of Heralds. I have changed the text accordingly. Robin S. Taylor (talk) 21:36, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
