Rewrite finished

I finished the rewrite and moved the page to "Christopher Collins" (the name he preferred). Christopher was my dad, so I based this article on what I knew about him first-hand. Before posting the article I checked with my mom to make sure all the info was correct. I also created redirects for "Chris Collins" and "Christopher Latta" --Szyslak 23:29, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Did Chris Latta voice Mr. Burns

I'm very sure that Christopher Collins did not voice Mr. Burns. I've watched the Homer's Oddessy and Mr. Burns still sounds like Harry Shearer, although he is using a different voice, like in all of the first season episodes. Though, I do believe that Chris did do the original voice of Moe. Hank Azaria said in an audio commentary on the fifth season DVD that Chris did the voice of Moe and Hank would only dub one or two lines. You can tell that in Some Enchanted Evening, when Bart prank calls Moe, the Al Kaholic one, it's Chris doing the voice of Moe. But when Bart prank calls Moe again, the Oliver Klozoff one, that sounds more like Hank. I think they did the same thing with Harry having dubbed one or two lines. Personally, I don't know. It's just an educated guess. If you do have proof that Chris did do the voice of Mr. Burns, please let me know, because right now, I'm sure that Chris did or did not do the voice of Mr. Burns though I'm positive with your beliefs that Chris did do the voice of Moe.--63.22.254.33 14:40, 7 August 2006

A clarification: Chris Collins did the voice of Moe in the original production of "Some Enchanted Evening", but when most of the episode was re-animated Hank Azaria re-recorded Moe's lines. Chris still appears in the final episode as the America's Most Armed and Dangerous. He's Moe and Mr. Burns in "Homer's Odyssey". szyslak (t, c, e) 23:46, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Its been confirmed for many years now by Matt Groening, Harry Shearer and Hank Azaria that Christopher Collins (aka Chris Latta) did voice Moe and Mr. Burns in the pilot and one other episodes and that after he was fired, Shearer and Azaria redubbed most of the lines. I can't provide a definitive reference but as you said it was mentioned in the BluRay and DVD audio commentaries. IKnowTheWayToSanJose (talk) 05:19, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

This image is NOT in its correct aspect ratio (it's clearly vertically stretched). As it's copyrighted, I can't just correct it and reupload. Does anyone have a correct copy that doesn't look like crap? Alvis 04:57, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Flint Dille noted on the commentary track for the 20th anniversary that Latta had died.
