Railway station

There is a railway station in Chitradurga and there are daily trains to Bangalore.

Chitradurga Fort

Somebody please justify the statement Chitradurga Kote is only of its kind of fort. Stone forts on hills are very common all over India. Two nearest examples of similar forts are in Bellary and Rayadurga(m). Shree 13:16, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

No references!

For a town of such historic importance, this page has absolutely no references cited! (apart from the one in the infobox).I've added 'unreferenced' tags for some important sections, but really, there are almost none for the whole page.Shree (talk) 14:06, 3 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
