Merge vote

Merge: the two topics are sufficiently coextensive that one page would suffice. --Dpr 00:11, 10 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Merge - Yes, a merger between the two makes sense. They cover almost exactly the same information already and are the same issue. Janizary 18:44, 10 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Merge - I agree on the merger.

merged per consensus and no dispute on other page. Ste4k 15:18, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Emperor of China

There is a book called "Emperor of China" which is a compilation of several works by the Chinese emperor Kang-Hsi that talk of Spanish and other catholic missions, perhaps they should be included in this article?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sethwoodworth (talkcontribs) 07:55, 26 May 2006

Cleanup

The section "Russian Mission" needs looking at in particular after the merge. External links appear to be sources perhaps, citation work should probably be done here. Ste4k 15:43, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Chinese Orthodox Church. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add Template:Tlx after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add Template:Tlx to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

"is"

In what sense does an autonomous Chinese Orthodox Church exist? It has no bishops. Who assigns priests? This article needs some way to distinguish between an actual ecclesial autonomous body, and a generic "Orthodox Christians in China"--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 00:09, 13 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Removal of pre-Russian Christian sections

The ancient period of Christianity in China from the supposed missions of Thomas to the Mongol-Yuan period of Nestorian Christianity have little reason to be included in a article about the Russo-Chinese Orthodox church. I want to remove these sections because of the little relation between the two. If I do, maybe I'll add them to the "See Also" section for those interested in Christianity in China in general.SlackingViceroy (talk) 02:50, 3 November 2019 (UTC)SlackingViceroyReply
