what about changing "commonly used for natural languages" to "suitable for ambigous grammars", because that is what chart parsing is all about and not necessarily limited to NLP.--Timo Baumann 06:55, 31 May 2004 (UTC)

Undefined Terms
The text says, "Chart parsers are distinguished between top-down and bottom-up, as well as active and passive." Top-down and bottom-up are defined in the page about parsing, but I don't see anything that defines passive or active parsers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.206.120.10 (talk) 16:56, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
