This was my great-great-great-great, etc. Grandfather. The family moved to the US in the 1800's and settled in Victoria, Texas.

Two families joined together and formed d'Estaing de Villeneuve. Two of our family members were executed 6 months after Marie Antoinette.

Question on the end of the last paragraph

It sounds a little bit strange, or is it just me? 68.39.174.39 03:45, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I want to talk to anyone who is related to Comte d'estaing. He was my great - great - etc grandfather. Email to :patricia.adams0806@yahoo.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.123.144.245 (talk) 00:21, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, he had no kids. His only child died as a child. His heir was his half-sister. She was a bastard and he arranged for her legitimation ; if he had illegitimate children of his own, he would certainly had done the same for them. So fancy family legend, no more.
