Homonyms

Assuming it's not wikipolicy to list homonyms or whatever those are, I'll remove them? Any objections or comments? Sherurcij 03:57, August 12, 2005 (UTC) . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.16.175.100 (talk) 22:54, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Meaning?

"In the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Oriental Orthodox Church, as well as the Eastern Catholic Churches, censers (Greek: thymiateria) are similar in design to the Western thurible. This fourth chain passes through a hole the hasp and slides in order to easily raise the lid."

There appears to be something wrong with the second sentence here, but being a non-native speaker, I lack the imagination to say precisely what. And which fourth chain anyway? 85.180.195.242 (talk) 12:58, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Middle Eastern section

Hello, I'm adding additional information to the Middle East section about incense burners. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mar Rosario (talkcontribs) 17:27, 9 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Added additional information to the history of incense burners, a more in depth description of zoomorphic incense burners and information of the religious and secular use of incense burners in the Middle East. Also added additional sources and a photograph. Mar Rosario (talk) 17:51, 9 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
