THE STATEMENT THAT 'CELTIC IS THE FIRST BRITISH TEAM TO WIN THE UERO CUP' IS INCORRECT. CELTIC IS THE FIRST SCOTTISH TEAM TO WIN THE EURO CUP. THERE IS NOT AND NEVER HAS BEEN, A BRITISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE. THERE ARE 4 LEAGUES. SCOTLAND ENGLAND WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND WHICH ARE ALL RUN BY EACH COUNTRIES' FOOTBALL ASSOCIATIONS. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Currently, the article does not mention the total number of trophies they've won. "Glasgow Celtic" should be mentioned as an 'also referred to'
The club is known fairly well as Glasgow Celtic. I've added this to the open, with a link to the official Celtic profile, but User: 2601AC47 has been engaging in an edit war ("aint gonna happen" [sic] and "not fooling me" being his two reasons for editing).
The opening had been "The Celtic Football Club, commonly known as Celtic (/藞s蓻lt瑟k/), and also referred to as Glasgow Celtic" with reference. I think this should be an addition, especially given the style of other club pages. Thoughts? Bbx118 (talk) 20:08, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

- That isn't WP:RSP. User generated X posts are not generally reliable. Direct references from official account sources, however, are. I cited a direct reference from the official and verified account. And to be clear, your edit summaries gave the strong impression you were either warring, or trolling. - I think it should be added. With the articles in @Escape Orbit's comment, there is conclusive evidence that it is sometimes called Glasgow Celtic. Joejoe101111 (talk) 21:20, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
Celtic F.C. supporters and their Support for Palestine
In recent times, many news websites have reported on Celtic F.C. supporters' solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause. Instances of Celtic fans (usually from 'The Green Brigade') waving Palestinian flags, singing pro-Palestine chants and holding anti-Israel banners have been observed, despite Celtic management sometimes attempting to stifle these actions. I have linked some articles below.
I think a sub-section under the 'Supporters' section should be added title 'Anti-Zionism and Support for Palestine', that describes these tendencies within the Celtic fan base.
