Ground injuries
According to the Global Terrorism Database, a total of 9 first responders were injured at the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93. They cite the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund as the source of this information. I feel this information should be added to the page info box or 'Crash' section.

More than a few times. I think they should be in this article, somewhere. Dtaht (talk) 22:37, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
The section describing the last words in the cockpit are incorrect according to the transcript
please look at the official transcript. The final words are at 10:03:09.3 and belong to a hijacker. The only thing close to what is published here was said by a native English speaking male voice at 10:02:17.3, that said, "turn it up." Please check the official transcript. Thanks. 2601:2C1:9081:A730:1831:FB55:DBD7:E30C (talk) 22:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Seating chart
The seating chart in the article misses the back half of the plane.
Would this image from this National Park Service page (public domain as created by a US Government employee) be more suitable?
The wings can be cropped off to show just the cabin.

Imbalance in visual representation - victims vs. perpetrators
Hello fellow editors,
I would like to raise a concern about the current visual representation in this article. While the article includes four photographs of the hijackers, there are no photographs of any of the 40 passengers and crew members who heroically fought back and ultimately prevented an even greater tragedy.
This imbalance is problematic for several reasons:
- Disproportionate attention to perpetrators: The current layout inadvertently gives more visual prominence to the terrorists than to the heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect others.
- Missing human element: The victims and crew members who showed extraordinary courage deserve to be remembered and humanized, not just mentioned in text.
- Editorial balance: Wikipedia should strive to present these tragic events in a way that honors the victims while documenting the facts.
I understand that finding appropriate images of victims can be challenging due to copyright and privacy concerns, but I believe we should make an effort to:
- Research if any family-approved photos are available in public domain
- Consider creating a dedicated section with photos of victims if available
- Potentially reduce the prominence of hijacker photos if victim photos cannot be found
- Ensure the article's visual narrative reflects the heroism of those who fought back
Has this issue been discussed before? Are there any ongoing efforts to address this imbalance? I would appreciate input from other editors on how to best approach this sensitive but important matter.
Best regards,
