This pretty much did nothing for me.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.24.50.49 (talk) 17:39, 12 October 2003 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone know Carl Bernsteins e-mail address?-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.82.9.92 (talk) 17:41, 10 November 2004 (UTC)Reply

Dick

I'm tempted to remove the reference to the film Dick, which is meaningless in the context of the article and does not sit at all.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.158.151 (talk) 23:26, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Watergate

Surely Carl Bernstein helped reveal the full story behind the Watergate break-in - he didn't actually break the news ?-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.136.182.62 (talk) 21:14, 16 January 2005 (UTC)Reply

Stub?

This article really is hardly more than a stub. Maybe someone should work on making it a bit more informative as regards to his reporting on Watergate. As it stands, this article basically just gives a few major events from his life. Would one want to put the same info about Watergate that appears in the Woodward article here too?-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.239.92 (talk) 23:09, 8 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bersein is a chimney in All the Presidents Men everywhere he went he had to light up-— Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.101.216.52 (talk) 02:10, 28 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Return to The Post?

I think this article is incorrect when it says Bernstein returned to the Post in 1976. It is my understanding that he never returned to the Post, and that Woodward, not Bernstein, is now the paper's Assistant Managing Editor for Investigations.-— Preceding unsigned comment added by Wlamb76 (talkcontribs) 23:36, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Autodidact?

The article says he went to high school and college. An autodidact is a person who educated humself without attending high school and college, as I understand the term. Perhaps he red books on his own after college, but so do most people. I'm removing the autodidact category until some justification for it is provided. Edison 17:23, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 15:14, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Same question as I had about Bill Geist: Bernstein hasn't worked for a newspaper in yars. He's really a magazine writer and author. Shouldn't he be on that list instead? - Cheesestakeholder —Preceding unsigned comment added by CheeseStakeholder (talkcontribs) 02:11, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Category Person

spotted the difference while looking at Bob Woodward, over there category journalist is used, maybe convert this article too? --87.162.89.9 (talk) 14:08, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nothing here about his education? 99.75.104.46 (talk) 20:15, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Carl Bernstein

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Carl Bernstein's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "wash0":

  • From A Woman in Charge: Script error: No such module "citation/CS1". Washington Post.
  • From Her Way: Script error: No such module "citation/CS1".

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:02, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
