@justlettersandnumbers I would added an absolute size reference if I had one. but until there is one provided by a user, I think this is an appropriate comparison content. Supreme Chungus (talk) 14:24, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Template:U, the approximate heights and weights are already in the text and in the infobox. Your photograph is not a very good one and adds nothing to the information on the Cane Corso already in the page. Please be kind enough to remove it again. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:04, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Dangerous dog

Are they classed as a dangerous dog 79.79.154.153 (talk) 10:49, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why has been dangerous? 2001:14BB:AD:CBD3:0:0:4E47:F001 (talk) 22:35, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
classifications as a dangerous or vicious dog are going to vary with the jurisdiction. But see the new paragraph about a child being killed in Canada. The story doesn't mention any classification of the breed or the individual dogs. Humpster (talk) 09:12, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are correct to revert, Script error: No such module "user".. So far, "the breed of the dogs has not officially been released, but Kache's grandmother says they are Cane Corsos." Distraught grandmothers aren't reliable sources so it doesn't belong in the breed article yet. I'll try to keep an eye on the story.
I searched for a home for this information and found my way to the deletion discussion for List of fatal dog attacks in the United States. I have added my opinion there. Humpster (talk) 23:47, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm? I didn't revert anything (to my knowledge), I simply fixed the reference per the Template:Tl request below. stwalkerster (talk) 23:52, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oops. Thanks for your correction of the reference, Script error: No such module "user".. It was Script error: No such module "user". who subsequently reverted. Humpster (talk) 23:58, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
It was @Justlettersandnumbers, but I would've reverted it too. Individual dog attacks aren't notable to a breed. Traumnovelle (talk) 00:01, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Name?

The name literally means "Corsican dog", which seems odd if they were once found throughout southern Italy and especially Apulia. An explanation for the name would be nice.Bill (talk) 17:03, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dog attack reference

Template:Help me-helped what am I doing wrong with this reference? I can't get rid of the error messages.

[1] Humpster (talk) 09:00, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

well, that wasn't the result I expected. I will put the reference code into the article so it can be edited. Humpster (talk) 09:01, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Your template call seems to be full of Unicode LTR characters characters, which is confusing the template parser. Stripping them out makes the template behave correctly: [2] stwalkerster (talk) 09:39, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
