Speakeasy Blues Club
This article states "The Hound Dogs became the house band at the legendary Speakeasy Blues Club in Central Square in Cambridge." The Hound Dogs formed the basis of the Broadcasters, who backed Ronnie Earl for a number of years. I realise the term 'legendary' is freely thrown around like confetti, but there is no mention of the club in the article. Did it have any relevance or 'notability' ? Incidentally, I am English, and therefore have no local knowledge to draw upon. Thanks. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 20:42, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Recent edits about the Mass. Pike
Script error: No such module "user". seems to have added several recent edits that do not seem to make sense, and aggressively defended them against reversion. For instance, "→Road: Massachusetts Turnpike actually does passes Cambridge because if your at a Car, Bus or Commuter Rail, you can see Cambridge on the other side, and that counts as passing through.", does not seem to make any sense. Obviously whether you can see something "on the other side" [of what?] is not the definition of "passing through." Similarly "Do not remove it again please. It does pass Cambridge. Look at the map of Boston. Search Interstate 90 find Allston." does not seem helpful for to make sense.
The content of the edits doesn't make sense either. "The Massachusetts Turnpike passes the half of Cambridge" is ungrammatical, as is "passes the through the half of." I guess maybe Script error: No such module "user". would revert these anyhow, but if not I will do so shortly, although I wanted to give :3207 a chance to respond.
(Perhaps there is confusion about "passing Cambridge" versus "passing through Cambridge"? Those have very different meanings in English--indeed, they are arguably opposites. You cannot do both.) jhawkinson (talk) 03:40, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- I had a look at the map, and the Turnpike doesn't cross the Charles River into Cambridge. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:56, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Camberville
The article should include some discussion of the term "Camberville" (a blend of Cambridge and Somerville, referring to both cities together as a social unit with similar geography and politics). Surely there are plenty of reliable sources for this. 207.180.169.36 (talk) 19:54, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
