Who was the first governor of Camarines Sur, Philippines?
Shake Magat was not the first governor of Camarines Sur, Philippines. The creator of this page used the official website of Camarines Sur as his source but how it came about he still had the wrong information is puzzling. George Curry was the first governor of Camarines Sur[1]/. Please see other sources cited in Bikol Wikipidya on the article about George Curry.[2]
However, there is still a problem in the line-up of Camarines governors. The official website of said province is silent about Paz Cea de Conde, the first appointed woman governor of the province, in fact in the entire Philippines, as mentioned by Paz Verdades M. Santos in her book 20th Century Bikol women Writing, (p. 47) [3] or, of Max Noble who served as interim governor, as mentioned in Miguel R. Cornejo's book, tne Commonwealth Directory of the Philippines. 1939 Encyclopedia Edition.

First governor of Ambos Camarines
