- File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done for now: unclear what's being requested as Estonia is already mentioned in the table and infobox. NotAGenious (talk) 16:58, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
wrong attribution of the French abbreviation
"The European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN (/sɜːrn/; French pronunciation: [sɛʁn]; Organisation européenne pour la recherche nucléaire)"
the attribution does not match the abbreviation (CERN ≠ Organisation Européenne pour la Recherche Nucléaire), in fact, if you'll look at the french source it will point the abbreviation is Conseil européen pour la recherche nucléaire 212.116.162.43 (talk) 21:09, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
- The official French name genuinely does not match the acronym. This is explained in the 2nd paragraph in the history section. 2001:1458:204:1:0:0:102:E89C (talk) 15:38, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
CERN as se:rn and seʁn for the french listing
Why does the ʁ is used in this context for the French pronunciation? The ʁ is not "rolled" in any way, and only confuse readers by doing so. ʁ should be r or R as well as se:rn, should be ce:rn (English) and cern (French) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SirlupinwatsonIII (talk • contribs) 23:10, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
