Suggestion to merge this article with Bukit Batok because they are pretty much the same thing. A bit confusing with the New Town alias, considered expanding Bukit Batok instead.

Language

"straddling along the eastern boundary of the West Region"  ? That is just bad English. Straddling implies that something lies across a given feature. So if Bt Batok lies across the boundary, then it should be 'straddling the eastern boundary'. if it is completely on either side, than maybe strike 'straddling'?
