Classification Hierarchy
I'm wondering if there is a conflict of hierarchy here. I was just doing a search to see if there were any available pictures of this one fossil, and I came across this page: [1].
It has the following:
- Order Multituberculata
- Suborder Cimolodonta
- Family Taeniolabididae
- Genus Buginbaatar
- Family Taeniolabididae
- Suborder Cimolodonta
The Wikipedia article has the following:
- Order Multituberculata
- Suborder Cimolodonta
- Family Cimolomyidae
- Genus Buginbaatar
- Species Buginbaatar clarki
- Genus Buginbaatar
- Family Cimolomyidae
- Suborder Cimolodonta
I'll do some more research.... GPHemsley→◊ 22:28, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
- Some more links: [2], [3], [4] (refers to a Buginbaatar transaltaiensis, though this article talks about only Buginbaatar clarki) GPHemsley→◊ 22:39, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
- Links referring to Buginbaatar and clarki separately: [5], [6] GPHemsley→◊ 22:44, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
