Home values and income are obviously inaccurate. Somebody please correct them. Census data is 5 years old so I doubt it'll be meaninful Papushin 04:14, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

this information has been verified through http://www.vbg.org/enTouchCMS/app/viewDocument?docID=70&catgId=15

Any citation for enrollment loss at St. Mary's? and is it the result of school policy or the fact that a lot of Russian Jews have moved into the area? KriZe 03:03, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

How about discussion of the OLD part (around Raupp Blvd) of Buffalo Grove versus the NEW part? Regarding the Jewish population, there is also a difference between the demographics of the OLD part versus the NEW.

Indeed, I would be interested to see information comparing the old (Cook County) and new (Lake County) parts of Buffalo Grove. I'd contribute myself, but I have no idea where to find such information. (Apologies in advance if I've added my contribution to this discussion incorrectly.) SecretMethod70

Income problem?

There seem to be two totally different income statistics. The chart states 80,000, while the demographic section says 125,000. Which is more accurate? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.22.12.199 (talk) 00:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

Ugh

That's a hell of an edit summary, excuse me for just going off the page, all it says is its in suburban Cook and Lake County, which means spit. Sorry if I am not from Chicago but two towns with the same name in the same state needed to be disambiguated. So save your holier-than-thou edit summaries for a forum that cares. Agreed. I think it simply makes sense. Maybe I should just move this article, as it doesn't really receive much traffic anyways. --Starstriker7(Dime algoor see my works) 22:40, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I know this is an old comment but just to clear things up in case someone else gets confused in the future. Buffalo Grove isn't "two towns with the same name in the same state". Buffalo Grove is one town that straddles the county line between Lake and Cook counties so has land in both. Wolfhound668 (talk) 14:50, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

population

Let me get this straight..a village with a population of 43000 people? Doesn't it make it a town? Norum 00:42, 27 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't know the number where a village becomes a town but on the Buffalo Grove website (vbg.org, for Village of Buffalo Grove actually) everything seems to be village. "Village Board", "Village Manager", "Village Hall", even a link to "Our Village". Maybe it should be a town and the local government just hasn't caught up. At least in Illinois, "village" is strictly a somewhat arbitrary legal term for an administrative division where an incorporated community has trustees elected at large.

Climate

The precipitation data in the climate table seems much lower than that of towns in the surrounding area. As someone from the area I doubt there is a microclimate here. 2600:1700:8412:22A0:292D:8224:E746:F722 (talk) 23:33, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
