Removal
I removed £oœ as the name of the PZL P.23. It doesn't look like it's rendering right, at least in an US-English browser. I suspect that someone was using a different character set when they entered that; someone should re-encode it in Unicode and put it right.
(it renders as 'pound-sign o oe-ligature' on my browser, which doesn't look like correct). —Morven 22:55, 27 Mar 2004 (UTC)

- Thanks Peter, I just used the top one for the infobox (2 1/2 years later!) . Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 17:37, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Pegasus XC thrust?
While researching for an aircraft article Short Scylla I came across several different thrust values given for the Pegasus XC e.g.
- 920 hp / 686 kW
- 919 hp
- 910 hp / 680 kW
- 900 hp
- 660 hp / 492 kW
In the end I chose the last value because it came from the Imperial Airways site and I decided that the operator would know!
What look like a competent source ([1] www.oldengine.org) gives
- HP(max)=790 hp and
- HP(take off)=910 hp.
Can anyone help sort this one out? Many thanks! TraceyR 18:21, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- Have added a new reference to the specs section and altered the figures to match, should be straight now. Lumsden gives the following hp ratings for the Pegasus X: 960 for takeoff, 810/850 continuous climb, 875/915 max power (5 minutes) Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 12:58, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
