Naming Issues

Shouldn't this page be listed as "Beskids" or "Beskid Mountains?" That is the name I usually see in English-sources. Olessi 18:30, 28 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Agree, I think it should be "Beskids". Let's wait a few days for comments from others, and then move it there. Markussep 2 July 2005 10:51 (UTC)

Scope issue

In Ukraine Beskids (Бескиди) applies only to the Western, the lowest, part of Ukrainian Carpathians. They are followed (from West to East) by Horhany and Chornogora-Svydovets. Thus to use "Beskids" to cover all Ukrainian Carpathians is not exactly correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.144.28.2 (talk) 12:18, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

question

How is "Podbeskid" translated into English? It's not the same as Low Beskids, is it?radek (talk) 19:42, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
