I removed part of it which was incorrect, likely due to someone copying wrong. He did not die in the Battle of yorktown.
Is he any relation to Abraham Lincoln?
- In the absence of any visible proof we have to assume he was not. It would, however, be fairly cool if he was.

According to this book, they are related: History of the Lincoln Familyย : An Account of the Descendants of Samuel Lincoln of Hingham, Massachusetts, 1637-1920 by Waldo Lincoln ++Arx Fortis (talk) 04:11, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
At the end of the introduction it says he was a descendant of Abraham Lincoln, yet at the end of the article it says he was of no direct relation. He was obviously no a descendant, but could have been an ancestor or other relation. According to Wikitree, Abraham and Benjamin are third cousins five times removed; Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Lincoln are both descendants of Robert Lincoln Jr.--67.244.41.210 (talk) 14:55, 10 September 2020 (UTC) S.Small

Recent genealogy additions
While it is interesting that genealogical work has been recently done to sort out Lincoln paternities, the web site cited as a reference appears to be a personal one, and the work smacks of original research by the contributor (see WP:SPS). If/when it is published in reliable sources (e.g. something like a journal of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, who might well be interested in this sort of information) it can be contributed to Wikipedia. (In the interim I think the article should avoid specific ancestry claims about this and other affected Lincolns.) Magicโชpiano 16:48, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
