Losses of PAVN in Operation Scotland II

Losses of 3304 PAVN killed in Operation Scotland II was added by User:Mztourist with [1] contribution on 12 April 2018.

But the cited ref url=https://archive.org/details/HighMobilityAndStanddown|year=1988|isbn=9781494287627|page=23 does not show that number. It just showed Template:Quote on left column and Template:Quote on right column.

Moreover, in the standalone Operation Scotland II, 3304 PAVN troops killed appears in infobox without any ref. I tried to count all PAVN losses in the article body and got only 1442 Leemyongpak (talk) 01:29, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Non-NPOV terminology?

Last paragraph of the section titled "Attacks prior to relief of the base" starts with the words "Cumulative friendly casualties for Operation Scotland..." Friendly to whom? Shouldn't this be simply "Allied casualties for Operation Scotland..."? GNillePuh (talk) 12:30, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
