I don't know how to include this in the basilica article: Bom Dia means hello in Portuguese, so Bom Jesus means 'Hello Jesus!' This should be interpreted in a rather positive light. In spite of its positivity, an Architecture scholar would be better at writing this than me. --McDogm 00:13, 9 May 2005 (UTC)

- When is was finished in 1695, why does the text say, that it is more than 400 years old? Has there been a previous building with the same name or is it a mistake? --El bes (talk) 18:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
There is wrong information here, It is supposed to be 1605. I am attaching a picture I took, when I was there last year, of the information plague that is located at the front of church in the photo gallery. --Theoffice89 (talk) 05:16, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

image should be from the church
Kindly place the images as discussed in the citation. for example if in a link it is written 'last supper' which is highlighted in blue or even connected for link, the image should be in relate to the church itself so that a relevant and authentic information about the image there in church could be accessed.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.232.17.94 (talk) 05:29, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
