Napoleonic era
According to the French article, for a brief time during the Napoleonic era, the département may have larger than it is right now. Ranma9617 17:52, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

First Annexion by France
It might be mentionend that first annexation of this region by France was in political cooperation and coordination with Turkey, i.e. the Osman Empire, when theese troops were invading the Eastern part of Austria and Germany, and Vienna was under siege. --178.10.209.64 (talk) 19:48, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
