Barga is NOT technically in the Garfagnana. It is technically in MediaValle. Well barga is not in the north of italy.Its in the center the rel Italy,warm and nice people

Scots Immigration

During the early 20th century, thousands of Scots moved to Barga to work - there is still a substantial Scottish community tere today. I don't happen to have a source handy, but given the influence the community had, it's worth noting. 195.62.202.107 (talk) 13:27, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Notable natives and residents

This list is highly dubious. Just because someone's great grandfather came from Barga does NOT make them a native or resident of the town. The whole list needs checking, and I suspect most names can be removed. I have already removed some of the more ridiculous entries. Skinsmoke (talk) 16:18, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
