Just in Time
Barbie is given as an example of "Just in Time" manufacturing in the book The Box by Marc Levinson in chapter 14. *Script error: No such module "citation/CS1". MountVic127 (talk) 07:28, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
Blind Barbie
There's now a Blind Barbie, created with support from the American Foundation of the Blind. I think this is worth mentioning.
I'm happy to put something together but of course anyone else can jump in if they like. KaraLG84 (talk) 00:02, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
- Added a couple of sentences about the blind Barbie as well as the black Barbie with Down Syndrome. I wasn't sure how to expand the little I wrote without sounding like I was paraphrasing the article in my citation. KaraLG84 (talk) 15:00, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

- File:X mark.svg Not done: The problem with this is that it is an online TV show from Channel 4 and would only be watchable in the UK.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:19, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Script error: No such module "protected edit request". Barbie was featured in Mattel's first Live-action show, "The Magical World of Barbie" at Epcot in 1993-1994. It stared Elizabeth Simmons as Barbie, who was also Miss Oregon 1993. QueenB1970 (talk) 22:59, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- File:X mark.svg Not done: This probably lacks due weight for mentioning here, and it may be more on topic at Epcot.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:20, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
