Talk:Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin
Script error: No such module "Banner shell". Should this be "Bailey's Harbor", with an apstrophe? Andy Mabbett 11:54, 22 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- Maybe, but that's no proof. Andy Mabbett 14:09, 22 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- According to the official Door County and Baileys Harbor sites, there is no apostrophe. Brian Amos

Baileys Harbor was named after Capt. Bailey, who was one of the earliest visitors and the "first" settler in the town. However, there is no apostrophy in the name.

Cana Island size correction
I just made an edit to the Cana Island page. The previously stated size of the island (at over 8 square miles) seemed gargantuanly wrong, given the photographs I have seen of the island. I used Google Maps to estimate it, and from what I saw, Cana Island was just under 750 feet wide from West-East, which was its largest dimension for area, which would mean that it is less than .02 miles. If there are any knowledgeable locals who can provide more accurate information, please be my guest and make a correction. Please leave a message on my talk page if you need any technical help with that.
