broken links for citations about health hazards of BT
These links didn't work for me:
however, the manuals for these products do contain many environmental and human health warnings,[28][29]
Also, the way it was phrased seemed to imply that BT is dangerous.
Systemicity
In the insecticde page under "systemic insecticides" Bt toxin, in Bt-plants, is given as an example of a systemic insecticide. However systemicity implies moving within the plant. Although Bt toxin is integrated throughout the plant, I expect it is not mobile, being to big to enter the vascular system. Before modifying the text I would like confirmation that Bt toxin does not migrate within the plant, but I cannot easily find my way around the enormous amount of literature on Bt toxin. Can anyone offer info about mobility withing the plant? Bosula (talk) 12:59, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
Can I just say…
I really wish there was a Wiki article I could link to the phrase “insect-rich environments”. Perhaps there is one—or more. Any ideas? The Flensed (talk) 08:36, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
Into the BT Cotton protein is 'Crystal protein'.?
I cannot make sense of this sentence, can anyone explain what it is supposed to mean? Leist (talk) 19:26, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
