Avans Hogeschool is not a university!!!

Although the Avans Hogeschool is a school of higher professional education, it isn't a university!!! So, the title is utterly wrong! In the Netherlands it is a Hogeschool, somewhat comparable with the former polytechnics in the UK. Please, change the title to Avans Hogeschool! Thank you.

This school is not a university according to the Dutch law, but an HBO (professional high school), so I removed the category link. The requirement of the category with the Dutch universities is: There are two kinds of institutions of higher education in The Netherlands: universities (universiteiten) and schools for professional education (HBO's or hogescholen). This category contains a list of the universities.--145.107.0.131 14:59, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is an encyclopedia entry about a school, not an online advertisement for student life in the cities of Noord-Brabant!

Please revise the section about the school campuses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.170.126.6 (talk) 22:47, 8 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
