Talk:Armbar

Armbar means more than simply juji-gatame. If you don't agree with this, let's discuss it.
- "Armlock", a lock of the arm, refers to arm-related joint locks, including the armbar. "Armbar", or arm shaped like a bar, implies the straight arm variant and thus can not refer to bent-arm locks. Some feedbacks by MMA users: "I always taught, Armbar = Juji, Armlock =Joint lock attacking the arm". "an armbar is an armlock, but so are locks that attack the elbow from other positions (ex. with the legs from scarfhold) but they wont be armbars." Shawnc 01:39, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
