Talk:Anton Raphael Mengs
Script error: No such module "Banner shell". Template:OnThisDay
I don't get the nationality designation "a German Painter" for an artist born in what would be the Czech Republic today of a Danish father & who studied & worked in Italy & practiced his skill in Italy, Spain & Germany. How do we decide this artist is "German?"

Why did you remove the proper spelling of Aussig? --Keichwa 06:00 19 Jun 2003 (UTC)
- There is a new link, so it might be redundant.
I changed "Rivality" to "Rivalry." Technically, the words mean the same thing, but rivality is an obsolete form. --Groomson 12:31, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

"who while painting in the Rococo period of the mid-17th century" should be mid-18th century, no? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SimonRichardSmith (talk • contribs) 13:28, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
