In stocks

Anthropomorphizing is very prominent in reporting/commentary on stocks and indexes. I'm surprised there isn't a mention of this here because it's so prevalent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.241.192.137 (talk) 17:06, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Artificial intelligence (AI) is even more so. 133.45.130.211 (talk) 02:55, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
What do you mean by anthropomorphic reporting? Can you please give a couple simple examples here? I don't see how it can be that prevalent if I'm not familiar with any. JustinTime55 (talk) 14:03, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Idea for the 'animals' section.

On Twitter, YouTube channel 'The Dodo' was criticized for anthropomorphizing animals. The stance is as follows: if humans apply human qualities to real animals, it may cause issues (such as children approaching wild animals, feeding wild animals, or abusing domesticated animals). I have no sources, so my contributions wouldn't be valuable to the article and may fall under 'own research'. However, I implore others to find encyclopedic information. If I remember: I might do it on my own time. Here are the improper sources, in case they come to use: https://zookeeperproblems.tumblr.com/post/154571135881/wait-why-is-the-dodo-bad https://www.reddit.com/r/likeus/comments/5t8dft/discussion_lets_stop_with_the_anthropomorphism/ Holdonspirit (talk) 19:35, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

i know this isn't a common question but why isn't there a "Happy Tree Friends" link or a reference to it?

antropomorfismo

o antropomorfismo é uma forma de pensamento que atribui características ou aspectos humanos a animais, deuses, elementos da natureza e constituintes da realidade em geral.nesse sentido, toda a mitologia grega, por exemplo,é antropomorfismo. 2A01:14:8077:4C80:CC76:97A2:4592:C274 (talk) 19:01, 3 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

In Animals

I just noticed it says cats do not mourn for an owner when they die and from what I've read elsewhere that is incorrect. Cats and dogs do mourn when the owner or another pet dies. Treesandstorms (talk) 09:16, 22 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
