angina pectoris

The cause of death reported as "angina pectoris" is not recognized as such. Angina pectoris is the description of a typical chest pain due to blockage of the coronary arteries.

Pain (angina pectoris, headache, arm pain, etc.) is not a cause of death.

Thus, more precise is "...died of a heart attack..."
