Tuberculosis

I recently finished Olivier Todd's esteemed biography on Camus and was shocked by how much Tuberculosis affected Camus' life. His diagnosis is only mentioned, and then it is given as the reason he could not enlist because he had "once had tuberculosis." I wonder if more information should be added. Camus had several bouts of the illness, and underwent multiple rounds of collapse therapy. Sherlocke (talk) 17:34, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reversion

I just reverted Asto77's 18 minor edits made to this page today. "Personal life" sections are common in Wikipedia biography articles, including ones that I have heavily worked on, but they are not required. In this case, moving Camus' relationships from their positions in the chronology into a final biography subsection diminishes the reader's understanding of the real-world interactions that shaped his philosophy. camus - catholic nobel

'he was baptized, raised, and educated as a Catholic and invariably respectful towards the Church'

so 50% algerian nobel laureates are (raised) catholic. 100% algerian nobel laureates are catholic.

why not say?
