Contradiction?
"Before Rickman met his longtime partner Rima Horton at age 16" is later followed by: "In 1965, at age 19, Rickman met 18-year-old Rima Horton" François Pichette (talk) 04:22, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
- If he was born in 1974, how could he have met Rima in 1965? 2601:547:202:2B00:833:250B:8F0:F6F4 (talk) 15:33, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
Nationality
Quote from this wikipage; His mother was Welsh, and his paternal grandmother was Irish. Rickman would later say in April 2015, "I was talking to Sharleen Spiteri about being a Celt, how you smell each other out, because my mother's family is Welsh. There's not a lot of English blood in me --- And there is only de jure British Citizenship 85.94.248.27 (talk) 17:56, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
Footnote 58 is from a depreciated source. Can it be replaced, or should it be removed without replacement?
Greenhouse, Abraham (18 January 2016). "Rachel Corrie's family pays tribute to Alan Rickman". The Electronic Intifada. Retrieved 14 January 2022. is sourced from https://electronicintifada.net/, which is depreciated per RFC: Electronic Intifada. I would remove it and any content sourced from it, unless there is disagreement or an alternative source? FortunateSons (talk) 19:16, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

Illness and Death
In August 2015, Rickman had a minor stroke, which led to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
I do apologise for my poor English. But I just read the diaries in German. On JULY 14th he wrote: "This diary will get a totally different character now . . . Broke down later at home." And on a footnote the translator/publisher(?) explains that A.R.got his pancreatic cancer diagnosis at this point. Throughout July and August he had to go to hospitals regularly for medical treatment.
On SEPTEMPER 9th he wrote:8.30 in the morning. Made myself ready to go to the hospital and the floor came towards me." Footnote: He had suffered a stroke, Rima called an ambulance . . . Close friends and relatives were informed now, how sick he was.
So according to the diary he neither suffered a stroke in August nor was he diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The diagnosis was a month ago and the stroke happened a month later. 2A00:20:D00D:4F0E:1CF5:4A23:6733:D158 (talk) 07:23, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
