Fair use rationale for Image:AirNorthLogo.jpg

File:Nuvola apps important.svg

Image:AirNorthLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Can someone please update the logo to this one: https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/683024365605142529/1SfF2HNg.png

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlos.obregon (talkcontribs) 01:57, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Is that a new logo or just a aircraft paint scheme? If you go to the official site the logo there is the same. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 19:11, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the current logo is reflected on the website. But there is a new website launching soon and the logo with the plane tail will be the official logo. Their social media profiles already have the new logo:

https://twitter.com/flyairnorth

https://www.facebook.com/airnorth

Thank you for your assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlos.obregon (talkcontribs) 21:01, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

If that picture isn't in use as a logo yet and there is nothing saying it will be then we should wait and continue using the current logo. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 14:38, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dear CambridgeBayWeather, I have just found out that the Air North logo you have here is outdated. Please note how the one you have here has the "Yukon's Airline" Italicized. This is an old logo. The current one does not have those words in Italics. Google is pulling this logo for the search results, which is causing branding issues. Can you please help?

The current logo can be found here, it is the same as in the current website: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2RiGxWZlJ4BTVFmSGdHZDlLTzdpSjRYbjM5bzhtOEhMS05F/view?usp=sharing

Let me know if you need the logo in a different size or dimensions. Thank you.Carlos.obregon (talk) 17:53, 29 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Shareholders

In 2023, 2024, and 2025, Air North has added E-class shareholders. I don't know the exact number, a low for digit number I think. Other than C&D, the E shareholders have voting rights; however, they hold so few shares that that has no impact. Ds77 (talk) 08:31, 27 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
