Would anyone care to provide an image of a commercial calendar
The abundance of hand-made calendars seems WP:UNDUE. It would be good to have a photo of a commercial calendar or even a display of several. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:50, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Chocolate
Could someone add a mention of chocolate advent calendars? Maybe they are just a UK thing but most people I know (at least when they were children) had advent calendars with chocolate inside. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.15.236.218 (talk) 23:39, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

The phrase "early doors"

Advent candle in gallery
I propose that the image of the Advent candle be removed for the simple reason that it is not a calendar – in a gallery of calendars.
I further propose that it be replaced with a link to Advent candle (which happens to contain the same image) in the See also section.

Germany - Postwar period to the present day
Our translation group just added the section "Germany - Postwar period to the present day" (under "History"), which we translated from the article on Advent Calendars on German Wikipedia. We've placed it after "Design and use" and before "Nordic Julekalender". Is this the best place to put it? Feel free to correct or add to our work. OberMegaTrans (talk) 15:31, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
