Why does ASPI only talk about 'ASAPI'? Are they the same thing? Is this a typo? --Spikey 17:23, 5 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure it's a typo, and I fixed it.

...and no, they're not the same thing. --87.122.34.149 00:10, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vista

ASPI on XP?

Why was ASPI removed from XP? 82.139.85.7 19:33, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was never bundled with any version of Windows NT. Only the 9x series had it included, why I don't know. Karsini (talk) 19:05, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

NT operating systems come with SPTI (SCSI Pass Through Interface) for optical drive access. Even tho it has SCSI in the name, it can be used to access IDE/USB/etc drives too. [1] --Voidvector (talk) 10:34, 11 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
