As for Gonzo
Gonzo is an IRL person who calls himself Gonzo, and makes AW2 maps 'n' stuff. -- A Link to the Past 03:28, July 21, 2005 (UTC)
Now that it's out in NA
Someone ought to incorporate the list of Dual Strikes into the article - I would but I'm not entirely sure about the best way to do it. And, perhaps a chart for the COs like the other AWs, or something… The CO section ought to be cleaned up a bit. (Paper Snifit)
- No, PLEASE. This is what I hate about the Advance Wars articles; they add a bunch of lists suited for Wikibooks. - A Link to the Past (talk) 02:05, August 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Hm. At any rate, we still need more in the CO section. Perhaps something like the first few COs in the Advance Wars 2 article, though it probably won't happen for a while. (Paper Snifit)
I also think that Tag Powers ought to be incorporated into the article - though I'm not sure what a good way to do this would be. By the way, what exactly is "Blue Daze"? Colin and Sahsa'a Tag Power is "Trust Funds".
I vote for making a Wikibook with subpages like "CO Guide" and "Dual Strike Guide." I plan on getting this game soon, so I might be able to contribute to a possible Advance Wars: Dual Strike module. On an expansion note, there should be more on the gameplay, as well as the new Combat mode, which I'm about to write about (I got a demo of the game from a friend). --gakon5 (talk)
Sturm
So is it true that Sturm is not in the new game? If so it should probably be added in somewhere Derktar 02:33, August 29, 2005 (UTC).
Regarding Grimm & Javier
In the Japanese version of the game, Grimm is known as Kouzou and Javier as Bittman. As such, the statement claiming that Grimm & Javier's names have have been switched from the Japanese version has been deleted. Anyway, the point of this comment is to clear up confusion on the matter: Grimm (Yellow Comet) and Javier (Green Earth) have never had their names switched; however, After E3 2005 Nintendo mistakinly stated on their web site that Grimm was the Green Earth CO and Javier the Yellow Comet CO. (Paper Snifit)
Reassessment?
Can we get a reassessment here? i.e., where refs are needed, how this can be brought up to an A level article. <3 bunny 22:48, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- This game is out of print, has been for a while now. Interest is at an all time low and with it being impossible to purchase brand new interest will only get lower. You are better off getting the new version to A level, which is still in print. JayKeaton (talk) 12:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- It's not really a new version. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 04:48, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Ending
The article states that Von Bolt was either dead or barely alive, however in the ending sequence Kindle states that the Allied Nations did bring him back alive, but he was very weak.--69.208.148.142 (talk) 16:47, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
