Disputed map

The map of the princely states is erroneous as it does not include the princely state of Swat. A different map needs to be found to illustrate the princely states of Pakistan at independence as that one is inaccurate. Ecrm87 (talk) 17:48, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Edit request

1. In the number parameter, please link “Provinces” to the provinces of Pakistan and not just the term Province.

2. Remove the population and area parameters. These do not need to be their own parameters in the info box, and should be another section and/or article.

Kashmir included under Pakistan territory

The Indian territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Junagarh are given as "Uncontrolled" territories of Pakistan which is factaully incorrect 49.36.41.155 (talk) 10:29, 1 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Tehsils & union councils

Are union councils subdivisions of tehsils, or can union council cross tehsil boundaries? Do union (and village) councils cover the entirety of India below the tehsil level? This is a central question so as to differentiate whether union councils are administrative divisions or political divisions, though it's possible they are both and the former limits the boundaries of the latter.

Lastly, tangentially related, but do you all think City Districts should be mentioned in the "districts" subsection of the article? My understanding is that they are governed administered slightly differently than regular districts, and that's worth a sentence of two. Criticalthinker (talk) 07:33, 18 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
