Why is Muslim representation being taken down?
I would like to address the repeated removal of a picture of a mosque that I’ve added to represent the diverse population of Addis Ababa. The city is home to a significant Muslim community, and the inclusion of a mosque alongside other religious representations reflects its cultural and religious diversity. Removing the mosque image while retaining others appears inconsistent and raises concerns about fair representation. This is not an act of vandalism but an effort to ensure balanced and inclusive representation. - Thank you @Socialwave597 for clarifying your issue with the image on your talk page. I still don’t understand how adding a picture would mess up the quality of the infobox, but I’m glad we agree on including the image. What matters is that we’ve found common ground on the issue.
- @ToBeFree in light of this I kindly ask to be unbanned so I can continue contributing constructively to the page. I also ask protecting the page in case of future removals of the representation.

- Okay, so we seem to have an agreement from Socialwave597 at [1] about adding the image somewhere else than in the infobox. A consensus among two editors is better than nothing, and someone removing the image without joining this discussion here would probably be prevented from continuing. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:57, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Infobox data
The infobox gives a population of 5,704,000 and an area of 527 km². That would give a density of 10,824 per km². The box has 5,165.1/km², which is inconsistent with the other data and apparently refers to the ca. 2.7 million inhabitants mentoned in the opening paragraph but based on an old census of 2007. --Proofreader (talk) 22:25, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

The population estimate in the infobox data does not agree with the cited source. In the cited CSA population estimate of July 2023 (footnote 3), the population estimate is 3,945,000. This is more consonant with other statistical reports, such as the Labour Force and Migration report of 2021.
