Population size
The population numbers in the article are wrong. The info box states a population of 3,789,860 but that's the population of the entire Abu Dhabi emirate (the article is about the city). The second paragraph then states "Abu Dhabi's urban area had an estimated population of 2.5 million,[6] out of 3.8 million in the emirate of Abu Dhabi." But that's not quite the correct number either because the 2.5 million refer to the region Abu Dhabi city lies in. There are three such regions in the Abu Dhabi emirate.
I found a source that only talks about the city which has it at an estimated 1,593,284 people. [1]. Not sure how accurate this number is, but it seems more appropriate than the 2.5 and 3.8 million used in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.201.112.251 (talk) 05:23, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

- Makhlouf’s role was to refine, adapt, and implement the city’s urban plan, making it fit the local environment, culture, and social needs.
- He developed detailed zoning, infrastructure, and architectural guidelines that transformed Abu Dhabi from a small desert town into a modern, livable capital city.
- His work extended to other cities in the emirate such as Al Ain and Madinat Zayed.
- Dr. Makhlouf’s approach balanced modernization with respect for Islamic architecture, heritage, and sustainable design.
- Because of his pivotal contributions, he is widely regarded in the UAE as the “Architect of Abu Dhabi@

Template:Tq Widely regarded by who? I've never heard of him and the name brings up zero hits in Google. This is completely unsourced WP:OR and has no place in the article unless it can be sourced. Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 07:38, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
