Several problems with this page:

Etymology

The etymology is unreferenced. Koch's work is referred to in passing but is not in the references. The etymology seems to contradict that in Delamarre and André, and does not explain how the cognates in other IE languages could have been produced.

The cited reference 3 gives *h2eph3ol-n- and *h2eph3ol- but not *Ad-belj-ō as claimed.

The name of the article is wrong, being a truncated form of the dative, whereas it should be listed in the nominative. The most likely nominative is Abellionnia (which would also make this deity most likely female). --Nantonos 17:09, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Apollo

The solar deity confusion with Apollo seems unfounded, what are the references for this? Its far too early, and in the wrong region, for p to have mutated to b.—Preceding unsigned comment added by NantonosAedui (talkcontribs)

Evidence

The evidence for this deity should be presented. --Nantonos 17:00, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

French article

The French article on Abellio is quite detailed, with an interesting range of sources. Cynwolfe (talk) 00:59, 20 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
