Michael Oren citation
I find it unfair that the article includes opinions stated by Michael Oren, an Israeli diplomat, and former member of the Knesset, while simply referring to him as a 'historian'. Trulyy (talk) 02:33, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed. Why is it Michael Oren, historian, rather than Michael Oren, former Israeli ambassador to the United States? The usage of the word historian presents its subject as something much less biased than a former ambassador. DDyl00 (talk) 18:28, 2 March 2025 (UTC)
- Because the cited statement is from a history book written in 2007, when Oren is a historian, not a diplomat. Longhornsg (talk) 16:58, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
Updating the (very outdated) IRS filing source and figures
The filing cited is from 2014. There are newer ones, specifically, this is from 2023: https://pdf.guidestar.org/PDF_Images/2023/521/623/2023-521623781-202412219349301641-9.pdf The numbers in the infobox need to reflect this as well. Davidmanheim (talk) 09:02, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
File:Yes check.svg Done, thank you. The 990 form you referenced is for the American Israel Education Foundation subsidiary organization, which was similarly out of date. I updated the financials in the infobox for both AIPAC and AIEF. -- M.boli (talk) 17:23, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
Right Wing?
I challenge the opening which describes it as "Right-Wing". It donates to both Democrats and Republicans. The amount AIPAC spent to defeat Cori Bush is an example. Defeating Progressive Democrats in Primaries for more Pro Israel Democrats has been one of its biggest goals at elections. It should probably say just "Pro-Israel" and nothing else. 'Prominent officers and supporters' section update
I don't have suitable editing privilege as I am a new user, but the line where it says "Howard Kohr has been the CEO of AIPAC since 1996" should be updated to reflect the fact that the group has named Elliot Brandt, previously their Vice-CEO, as its new CEO, as Kohr retired at the end of 2024. This is according to this press release: https://www.aipac.org/resources/elliot-brandt-ceo Chiral-Matter (talk) 04:55, 22 April 2025 (UTC) File:Yes check.svg Done, thanks! Also updated the infobox. -- M.boli (talk) 17:23, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

weird wording in quotation
In the first sentence of the Controversy and criticism section, "One critic, former congressman Brian Baird, who "had admired Israel since I was a kid,"", the phrasing of the quote seems a bit off. I would recommend it be changed to "had admired Israel since [he] was a kid" for the sake of better reading. Bigmanboyo (talk) 20:59, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
- File:Yes check.svg Done with minor additional grammar changes to make it clear that the quote is by Baird referring to himself. SI09 (talk) 21:49, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
