Template:WikiProject banner shell what's with the crazy dictionary definition at the top?

I noticed this sentence - "The website claims older (freeware) versions of ADRIFT are still available, but the link is broken." I have just tested the link and this is not at all true. I took the liberty of correcting it.

Notability tag

Template:U, can you help establish that this meets WP:NOTABILITY? Template:U, what are your main concerns? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 21:06, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Are we ready to remove the "Maintenance Template" ???

I updated the ADRIFT article to 17th of September 2021 and added references. Are we ready to remove the "Maintenance Template" and if not why? Thanks, Commobommo

ADRIFT now has Trojan

Clear evidence. The writing is on the wall.

Adrift now contains a Trojan horse! Be wary. Please. Xanzs (talk) 01:47, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Many other sources say the same. Plus, a version from 2016 gave a negative on all fronts, not just Kaspersky TIP. I can upload a Jotti’s malware scan if you must. Xanzs (talk) 01:55, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, Kaspersky TIP is free. Really? Xanzs (talk) 01:57, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Many other reliable sources? Please show proof. Your own original research is not a reliable source. Testing executables (randomly downloaded or official) is original research, regardless of what you claim to "find". Please do not upload screenshots of non-free software, including websites.

Kaspersky TIP is "free" as in you don't need to pay to use it. But that's not the same as it being free for Commons. Please see Gratis vs. libre. TIP is gratis, not libre. For example, FFmpeg is libre and gratis. WhoAteMyButter (🌷talk🌻contribs) 01:58, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not continue to upload screenshots of non-free content. Unless you can provide reliable sources that support your claims, your claims are original research. WhoAteMyButter (🌷talk🌻contribs) 04:47, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
