The population was 194 in 2020.
History
The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Surrency as a town in 1911.[1] The community was named after Millard Surrency, a pioneer citizen.[2]
Geography
Surrency is located at Template:Coord.[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square mile (2.0 km2), all land.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 237 people, 98 households, and 69 families residing in the town. By 2020, its population declined to 194.
