The population was 2,408 at the 2010 census,[1] and 2,813 in 2020.
History
The community was named after Charles Statham, a University of Georgia official.[2]
Geography
Statham is located in eastern Barrow County at Template:Coord (33.965496, -83.596711),[3] Template:Convert west of Athens.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert is land and Template:Convert, or 1.08%, is water.[1]

Education
Barrow County Schools is the sole school district covering the county.[5]
Statham Elementary School is the zoned elementary school,[6] and Bear Creek Middle School is the zoned middle school.[7] Statham Elementary feeds into Winder-Barrow High School.[8]
