Sri Madhopur[1] is a city and a municipality in Sikar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was founded on 18 April 1761 under the reign of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I.[2] It Is A Jaat Dominant City .It is mainly famous for his temples. Sri Madhopur wheat market is the biggest wheat market in Sikar district. Sri Madhopur Government School is one of the biggest schools of the Sikar district. It is one of the five tehsils of the district. The dedicated Delhi-Mumbai Freight Corridor passes through the city. This city is chosen for the development of a crossing station on this route (Shri Madhopur DFC Station).[3][4]
