She is a snake-like alien who was later altered by "Hypertaxis energy" into a semi-humanoid shape, retaining her serpent tail but gaining a humanoid upper body.

Fictional character biography

Jeka Wynzorr is a snake-like alien and the princess of the planet Orando who renounces her position to travel the galaxy, using her illusion-casting abilities to disguise herself as a human.[1][2][3][4] She joins the Legion of Super-Heroes as Sensor and obtains cybernetic arms, which she is rarely seen without.[5][6]

While battling the Terrorforms on Xanthu, Sensor is exposed to Hypertaxis energy and mutates uncontrollably until Ra's al Ghul stabilizes her into a nāga-like form.[3][4][7] In 2004, the Legion's continuity is rebooted, erasing Sensor from existence and replacing her with a new version of Projectra.[3]

In Final Crisis: Legion of 3 Worlds, an alternate universe variant of Sensor in her original form is among the Legionnaires summoned to help fight the Time Trapper.[8]

Sensor also makes a minor appearance in Action Comics (vol. 2), where she, Chameleon Boy, and Shrinking Violet unsuccessfully attempt to change the past.[9]

In other media

Sensor appears in Adventures in the DC Universe #10.[10]
