The Putna is a right tributary of the river Siret in Vrancea County in Romania, in the historical region of Moldavia.Template:GeoSourceTemplate:GeoSource[1] It discharges into the Siret in Călienii Noi, near Vulturu.[2]

Hydrography

The Putna's basin has a total surface of Template:Convert;Template:GeoSource[3] 31% of this surface is located in the mountain area, draining the eastern flank of the Vrancea Mountains.
