Laser Love is the second album by UK band After the Fire.[1][2] Released in 1979, the album showcased more of a new wave approach,[3] including much shorter songs than had been featured on the band's more progressive rock-oriented debut album, Signs of Change. It was produced primarily by Muff Winwood.[4]
The album includes the band's biggest hit in the UK, "One Rule For You". Laser Love peaked at No. 57 on the UK Albums Chart.[5]
Critical reception
Template:Music ratings The Bristol Evening Post called Laser Love a "pleasant album which showcases After the Fire's rich music and melodic instrumental work."[6]
